I loved reading this. I was there on Saturday too, it was an incredible experience.

I loved this - sounds so familiar! You're right I'm going to dig out those dancing and find a club that 'old' me can feel free!

Thanks, Caroline. I don’t even feel ‘old,’ I just feel like ‘me’! I’d love to know how you feel when you find that club!

Such a lovely read.

In my late 30s. I love a day rave! I get to relive my clubbing years except now I get to wear trainers and no bra, ha! Loved this observation.

I live in Nottingham and these events are really popular with all ages. I've been to Before Midnight in Manchester but still waiting for Annie to visit Notts 👀

Ooh yes I’d love to try a day rave. I’ve done summer daytime festivals but not yet been to one in a club. Hopefully Before Midnight will go to Nottingham!

I loved reading this. Thanks for sharing, Lucy. I vicariously enjoyed such a lightness and freedom as I read how it feels when you're out out dancing.

I also love to dance. Although I'm rubbish on an evening now so it doesn't happen out in the world very often. (All the time at home though!)

I'm planning to go to Dayfever next month, an afternoon disco. Looking forward to sweating me tits off!

Thank you, Janelle! Dayfever is one I haven’t tried but I love the idea of it. Hope you get to go soon. And I think dancing at home is a great and joyful release too.
