I love this! I now have a sudden urge to text some of my friends (especially those I haven't seen in the flesh for years because I live in a different country) to ask what the first thing they did this morning was...! Just to get that little glimpse into their lives :)

You're clearly an observer (writer!) and you're good at spotting people's idiosyncrasies.

It's a big thing when I invite someone into my home and my space, I've realised.

There is always a temptation to tidy up and make it look presentable (wonder what the story is here?)

I sometimes ask myself why because usually if you're in my house you're someone I love and I should be cool with you seeing my mess!
