You did fine on live TV Lucy! By the way, the childess/childfree topic is definitely becoming more mainstream these days. There are quite a few videos on YouTube (some with millions of views) where people talk about their choice plus there is more coverage in the news (TV, newspapers, internet). It's great that it is no longer considered a taboo subject.
Your personal experience cannot be wrong. Also, if they thought of you, they clearly thought you could do it and wanted you to succeed. You are a subject matter expert. Imposter syndrome catches you only when you think you need to know everything, but nobody is asked nor expected to know everything. Media is a fast current and while things will exist forever online, strangers won't think about you for long after the interview. Those who felt touched by your words will know where to find you, the others can have fun in the comments and you don't need to listen.
Thank you, Barbs. You’re right - it’s mainly me fretting about this thing! But, despite my self criticism, I want to do more media, TV, podcasts, the lot. We need to talk about how it is to not have children, whatever that experience is.
You totally should! Yours was one of the first substacks I subscribed to when I joined and your words were a revelation. I didn't know what to expect from this platform and I didn't know this was even a topic. Thanks for writing and best of luck on your media adventure :)
Tonight! On line volunteer classification of wills of Murcia 1480 -1590. :)
Great! Hope it goes well.
Well done Lucy! Look forward to discussing in person next month xx
Thank you Tori. Me too!

I agree! Thanks, Ilias. I was pleased the male presenter talked about his experiences too.
